TECHNICAL PROBLEM (Utility)
 
Establishing the 'objective technical problem' to be solved via the application (or the patent), the closest prior art, and the distinguishing feature(s) of the invention to the closest prior art.
 
Any invention that can be made or used in any kind of industry, including agriculture.
 
The claimed invention as a whole must be useful and accomplish a practical application. That is, it must
produce a useful, concrete and tangible (real-world) result.
 
The description of the utility of an invention is the burden of an inventor, who must assert at least one utility or practical application of the invention, i.e. the purpose of the invention or how the invention may be used.
